The most successful HR or Talent leaders are able to link people centred systems to business results and engage others to achieve those goals. They think of themselves as driving business results through people so any key people initiatives they undertake support the company’s ambition to scale.

Frustratingly, so few Talent professionals are afforded the opportunity to contribute strategically and influence in the Boardroom. Our Impact and Influence Mentoring Programme helps HR Professionals  lead the way.  

How We Work With Our Clients

We equip ambitious HR and Talent Professionals with the skills that they need to transition into the strategic enabler that every scaling business needs. 


Our programme runs over six, well-paced, virtual or face-to-face 90-minute sessions, starting with:  

A review of your current role including short, medium and long term goals, personal development needs and your immediate challenges.


And culminating in:

A presentation to the Board / Senior Management on your People Strategy and how it will enable the company to achieve their scaling ambition. You will be provided with recommendations on how to sustain your impact and value moving forward.    

Who is it For?

Our Impact and Influence Mentoring Programme is available to HR or Talent Professionals who have a strong desire to influence and educate the key decision makers of scaling businesses. This programme is only available to those who want to create significant impact and drive exceptional value within a growing business.  


We have limited openings and only accept those who are fully committed to personal growth.

Why Us?

Our Impact and Influence Programme is led by Claire Colvin, a highly experienced Talent Leader, specialising in building the right people-centred systems to accelerate scaling.  


CIPD qualified with a Masters in HRM, she draws on over 23 years’ experience in high growth SMEs, global organisations and major UK PLCs. This enables her to identify the right commercial, pragmatic and impactful solutions to build world class teams capable of achieving a scaling ambition.    


Former Talent Director on the Board of a rapidly growing global organisation, Claire grew the team by 200%, located in offices across 6 continents and built the right people centred structures and systems to enable the company to significantly scale. Prior to that, she spent 15 years with an award winning, indigenous technology SME, in a highly competitive environment, achieving 30% growth year on year.  


Currently the co-founder of Simple Scaling, Claire is co-authoring a book aimed at enabling ambitious SMEs to scale successfully with purpose.  She also coaches a number of business leaders and ambitious Talent professionals of scaling SMEs and larger businesses around the world.  


She is truly passionate about helping people to reach their full potential and the role that HR and Talent Professionals must play in building the right people centred systems in every scaling business.
